Pixel Ambience Privacy Policy
Data used
Pixel Ambience can be used without an account. It does not request device location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or advertising identifier. The application uses the selected scene’s fixed coordinates to obtain weather and air-quality information.
Optional account and purchases
On the website, an optional account keeps purchased scenes across devices. It stores your e-mail address, the sign-in methods you use (e-mail code or Google), active sessions and your purchases. No password is stored.
Sign-in codes are e-mailed through Resend. Google sign-in only shares your e-mail address and a Google identifier. Payments are processed by Stripe (card or PayPal); Pixel Ambience never receives your card details. Cloudflare Turnstile protects sign-in from automated requests. The website and account data are hosted by Cloudflare.
You can download your data or delete your account from Settings → Account. Deletion erases your address, sign-in methods and sessions; purchase records are kept without your address to meet accounting obligations.
Launch alerts
On the website, if you ask to be notified of a launch (Android app, desktop version, new countries), your e-mail address, the alerts you chose and your language are stored. The address is kept only after you confirm it with the link we e-mail you (sent through Resend); unconfirmed requests are deleted after 7 days. Every e-mail contains an unsubscribe link, which deletes your address. Cloudflare Turnstile protects the form from automated requests.
External services
Weather requests are sent over HTTPS to the declared provider: Weather data by Open-Meteo.com. Air-quality requests use: Air-quality data by Open-Meteo.com. Displayed values are rounded and transformed to drive the simulation. As with any Internet connection, the provider or proxy receives technical information required for communication, including the IP address and user agent.
Displayed traffic is estimated locally from Bangkok time; no external traffic service is contacted.
Storage and sharing
Recent weather, air-quality values, and rendering preferences are stored locally to reduce network requests and provide degraded offline operation. Pixel Ambience includes no advertising and no third-party analytics, and does not sell data. The website only counts anonymous daily totals (pages viewed, scenes opened, purchases, and the campaign or referring site of a visit), without cookies or identifiers and without storing IP addresses; the first origin is kept in your browser and attached to a purchase. Data is transmitted only to providers required by enabled features.
Control and deletion
Local data can be removed by clearing the application data or uninstalling it. Android cloud backup is disabled, and the application requests that this data be excluded from Android-supported device transfers; the final behavior of a migration tool can nevertheless depend on the device manufacturer.
